This is an online contest for anyone interested or want to start AppSec, DevSecOps, AI security, secure coding and more.
By solving each challenge you learn one essential security skill. These challenges are selected based on security defects that we see either not being addressed well or overlooked by great majority of software engineers.
Furthermore, we will also have an Attack & Defence Battle Challenge where you hack others' app whilst defending your own.
We want to encourage more developers to write secure apps to help protect our ecosystem, so we see less disastrous breaches impacting millions of users.
We want more penetration testers to learn how to audit code for quality security bugs and do not limit their assessment to blackbox audits.
We release challenges in two batches on SecDim Play.
Challenges can be played using our Cloud Development Enviroment (Vistual Studio Code in browser) or cloned locally on your workstation. Every challenge is a fully containerised app that you can run, test and solve.
The first batch of challenges will be released on 11th December 2023.
The second batch will be released on early January 2024.
The Attack & Defence Battle Game will be made available from the start till the end of the competition.
The game ends on 31st January 2024 and winner will be announced in early February 2024.

Sabotaging other players, attacking the platform, DoS, DDoS, cheating, attempt to disclose security tests on the server. Player would be immediately banned should any of these happens.
The first player who solves all challenges using "correct" solutions. We review the solution for top 10 players for correctness. Don't take shortcuts. Address the root causes.
